EVERYTHING!! Right now she seems to be into anything that's prohibited. She loves pouring water on the floor from the tub, the sink, the dog bowl. As she grins and pours she says "Daddy's gonna beat you," something I've jokingly said as she's in the process of doing something forbidden. We should probably find something different for her to say or someone will call CPS on us.
Ella will climb anything. She's especially fond of the 6 foot cat tree that was at the top of the stairs. Notice the past tense? It's now in the spare bedroom behind a toddler door handle cover.
She loves the bars at 'nastics (gymnastics). I found bends in her towel bar last week and couldn't figure out where they had some from until I caught her trying to hang off the one in the spare bathroom.
The word of the month seems to be SOOO, said with much emphasis. "The moon is SOOOOOO big!" "Bailey is SOOOOOO soft!" "That snail is SOOOOOO cute!" "Pup-pup is SOOOOOO nice." "It's SOOOOOO nice to see you!"
For such a bruiser Ella is quite empathetic. She becomes concerned when she sees other children crying, someone coughing or one of the pets just being still. She walks up to the object of her concern, gently pats it/him/her and says, "You O.K.?"
First, second, and third person are still a bit confusing and used interchangeably.
Almost everyone is a friend. We were recently picking up take out and were waiting outside. This large man wearing quite a bit of bling pulled up next to us in his even larger SUV with the windows rolled down. The subwoofers were thumping. Ella started dancing and saying "hey" to him. He studiously ignored her. She kept saying "hey" while getting progressively louder. He continued to ignore her. She began waving with increasing vigor. I tried to explain that he didn't feel like waving back but to no avail. A few people around us were chuckling at her which just egged her on, she's a bit of a clown. I think he finally decided that the only way he could get out of the situation with his dignity intact was to wave back. When he pulled away a bit later he initiated the goodbye wave.
Scary...
