So much happening...
It seems that every day Ella does something noteworthy. She seems to be interested in all creatures smaller than herself.
She chases the cat while saying "meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow." She sounds rather like the old commercial for cat food.
She walks up to the dogs with bowels of water, setting it in front of one of then, pointing to it, and demanding that they "eat".
She chortles while walking, then running behind one of the dogs, holding its tail until the eventually the tail slips from her grasp.
She attempts to dress the dogs in necklaces, sunglasses, and hats.
A few days ago we stopped at a neighbors small Koi pond on the way to the park. Our neighbor was out and let Ella feed the Koi. What a delight! Ella bent down to try to kiss them as they came up for food, progressively putting her lips closer and closer to the pond until she actually was kissing the water. YUCK, but pretty funny. When the fish were done eating she then attempted to climb in the pond with them. She actually got her shoe in the water. Thank goodness our neighbor has children! She thought it was really funny.
Earlier that day Ella was playing with Mom and found a small green insect in the house. It's Hawaii, we live with bugs and Geckos. Ella put her head down next to the bug, said "nice bug, pretty bug," tried to kiss it, dropped milk by it and told it to "eat, eat".
Right now she's throwing balls for the dogs to fetch but they sees to be avoiding her. That may be because she took the foaming, sweetly scented hand soap, and slathered it all over both of them about thirty minutes ago.
She just said, "Good girl, Jake."

Environmental terrorist
While Will was visiting he noticed that Ella LOVES to play in the water. One day he became quite angry with me for allowing her to waste water as she played in the bathroom sink. He accused me of being an ENVIRONMENTAL TERRORIST and stormed int the bathroom turn off the water. Ella saw him comming, yelled "GO!, GO!" and hurled the cup of water she was playing with at his head. He beat a hasty retreat.
Here she is in the sink, one of her favorite places to hang out, playing with "bubbles".

Now I have to watch Jake and Ella...
The last few days Ella has found the kitchen counter irresistible. Two days ago I was baking a cake, sliced it into it's layers, put up barriers to keep it from Jake, and walked out of the kitchen. I ran upstairs to get something and it was quite quiet. I started yelling "Jake" as I came down the stairs because I just KNEW he was having an almond cake snack. Boy was I wrong! Ella was sitting on the counter, covered in cake crumbs, grinning from ear to ear and saying "cracker, cracker." She was quite disappointed when I removed her from the counter and refused to give her anymore cake.
