Swimming with Bob...

Our hotel we stayed in when we were in Youngstown for the wedding had a pool. I'm not sure who had more fun, Bob or Ella. The last photo is of Ella "pushing" Bob back in when he tried to get out for the evening.

I'm such a slacker....

Yes, I'm so behind and cant' seem to keep up on postings. I guess a weekly post could be my resolution for the new year but I never keep them so why bother.

Early last month we headed back east for Nancy and Bob's wedding (Rob's mother and her new spouse. It was an adventure from the moment we hit the plane. We took a red eye, stopped in LA for a couple of hours, (Ella) projectile vomited about an hour out of Cincinnati, slept for all of an hour on the plane, and never adjusted to the time difference. Ella was the flower girl. She fell asleep a half hour before the ceremony and slept through the entire thing. She woke up about halfway through dinner. I had to carry her down the "aisle" and hold her through the ceremony. In spite of it all we had a great, but exhausting, visit.

On our first night Ella walked through the house at 2 am yelling, "BOB!, BOB!" When told the was sleeping and that she needed to be quiet she started stomping loudly, whispering "tiptoe, tiptoe," and yelling "Bob! Bob!" It was great! The night before the wedding she woke up in our hotel at, once again, 2 am and told us "go downstairs, make snowman." The joys of parenting a toddler.
